He became enraged when she declined his advance and summoned two tigers to pounce on her. At that exact moment, the goddess Diana emerged and encased Amethyst in a massive Quartz crystal for her protection. Upon seeing her encapsulated in this gleaming crystal, Bacchus denounced his actions and poured his glass of wine over Amethyst, coating the clear quartz crystal with a purple glow.
