A little stroll through my modest garden this morning brought a smile to my face as I inhaled the delicious fragrance of so many lilies. They are huge blooms that were glistening with the dawn's dew, and absolutely alive with so much excitement from the bees.

Symbolizing humility and devotion, lilies are the 30th anniversary flower. As the flowers most often associated with funerals, lilies symbolize that the soul of the departed has received restored innocence after death.
