This common, large songbird is familiar to many people, with its perky crest; blue, white, and black plumage; and noisy calls. Blue Jays are known for their intelligence and complex social systems with tight family bonds. Their fondness for acorns is credited with helping spread oak trees after the last glacial period.

Our creation was inspired by our love of the bird we often see at our home feeders, but became a reality when we reached out to the franchise owners of our beloved #Toronto Blue Jays, but were denied permission to use or create in actuality from their logo, slogan, tags, or players. We were heart broken, but respected their wishes, and came up with the only thing we could do to show our support of our home team.
